A graduate of both Wake Forest University and its acclaimed law school, Paul Bidwell was a prosecutor for the first five years of his career. Entering private practice in 1991, he has litigated some of highest profile cases in Western North Carolina in the last twenty years, in both State and Federal Court. In addition to his criminal and civil litigation practice, Paul maintains an office practice providing advice and services for individuals and corporate clients alike

Paul has been married to Carolyn Cameron Bidwell since 1988. Their children are Katherine, a graduate of Wofford College, and Azusa Pacific University’s Masters in Education program is a stay-at-home Mom of our two young grandchildren, and Patrick, a graduate of Appalachian State University and Elon Law, is currently practicing law in Greensboro, North Carolina. Paul and his family have been residents of the Fairview community and the Reynolds school district since 1997.
